2. Hey Literate, I'll be sending good thoughts your way
from a fellow North Carolinian.

Hope nothing bad happens!

I'm considering get a magnetized one so if I have to go into hostile repub territory, I can remove it and save my poor car!

8. My magnetized one doesn't stick to my bumper
Edited on Wed Jul-28-04 02:40 PM by patsified
I tried it this morning. It sticks to the doors, but not to the bumpers or the trunk in any way, shape or form. The car is new and clean. I can only surmise that the material in the back of the car is made of a lighter material than what is in the doors. I'm so depressed, now I can't display my support!:(

10. I've checked to make sure the lower part of my trunk will work
with a magnet.

My bumper will not, but the lower portion of my trunk lid will.

My bumper (and most now I guess) are made of that "bounce back" stuff that will bounce back in a minor fender-bender.

4. Do you have comp and collision?
I do and that's partly why I felt OK about putting it on.

7. Mine got my car keyed
by my little brother and his girlfriend, of all people. (Yeah, they're Falwell-type fundies.)

I don't really care, 'cause my car's a POS '93 Olds, but I've never once heard of liberals doing stuff like this. Aren't they (according to their own spin) supposed to be the party of morals/personal responsibility?

11. Yeah right, the party of "morals"
My friend has one of those Darwin fish with feet symbols on her car and the Christian fundies have left her crazy-as-shit threatening letters under her windshield wiper, keyed her car, and one person pried the thing right off her car once.

She replaced it.

She's braver than I am.

Once you believe you have God on your side, you are capable of any act because you feel so damn righteous.
