It's criminal that so few got to experience Obama's speech
As the friggin' keynote address, one would think the major networks could be bothered to cover the thing.

1. I agree
Since the networks didn't carry it, I think Kerry should use excerpts in an ad. But I am very sad that more people didn't see it. It was a speech that defines America in the best possible way.

2. Here in Chicago, they broke into the network shows on all
four networks and ran the entire speech.

This is where he needs the votes and this is where he got full coverage. Yay!

It was a great speech and everyone should have gotten a chance to hear it, but at least he got covered here.

4. That's good news, but that speech deserved a national stage
I really think it was something historic--and his burns on Bush were very artfully woven into his rhetoric. He went after the denial of rights to detained Arab Americans, the snooping into library records, the wedge issues of religion and gay marriage, et al.

5. Obama speech
I haven't seen it yet, but PBS here in St. Louis is showing 3 hours of prime time convention coverage each night.

I work Tuesday, so I recorded the coverage from last night. I will see it, but probably not until Friday...
