Is DU monitored by candidates/campaign staff/pollsters ?

I get the feeling DU is quite influential, it is an easily identifiable pulse of the democratic base. A "snap-shot" that is free and easy to pull up on any issue. I think Dean's people keep quite a close look on this place, which is cool.

So Howard, dont let Grossman warp your message on Iraq or the middle east.....if you do, the wheels will fall off the Dean 2004 bus. Kerry hasnt gotten the nerve up to address the general sentiments of the base, big mistake.

we just cant hear it. Besides, other than Holy Joe i think most dems are pretty cool with "colorful language". :D

2. Yes they do.

Including officials from state parties, the DNC, and many arms of it.

Many candidates are either posters or are or have lurkers.

monitoring the web. Since DU was picked up by google, campaign staff from all sides probably wander in and out.
