Poll question: Bill's Speech: What Theme Will Resonate Deepest In The Heartland?
Edited on Mon Jul-26-04 10:48 PM by stopbush
I could only come up with a couple of strong themes off the top of my head. If there are others, let me know ASAP to add to the poll choices.

1. John Kerry said "Send me!" We all make choices......
I think this is the message that is going to resonate throughout the Country. If I remember right, at the end of the "Send me" idea, he said we all make choices, so you make the choice to Send John Kerry & John Edwards to the WH.

He also kept saying the different circumstances that occurred and said, "If you like that, then send the Pubs, by all means, vote for GWB. If you don't, vote for JK & JE."

3. The First Three Words of the Constitution.. "WE THE PEOPLE!"
That should be Kerry's main theme..

At the beginning of every speech..his words should ring out with:

"WE THE PEOPLE":

(We the People) have been trampled on--

(We the People) are left out of the government process.

(We the People)have been subjected to deep secrecy by this dictatorship..

(We the People) have been Lied to..

(We the People) want accountability...and on and on..

ending with:

(We the People) want to send George Bush packing back to Texas!

5. Good thoughts, but I didn't hear that in Bill's speech.
Did he say that?

6. The poll question is: What Theme Will Resonate Deepest In The Heartland?
Edited on Mon Jul-26-04 11:12 PM by Tellurian
Kerry needs a theme resonating with the people while he's on the stump..

Clinton offered up brilliant ones tonight..his were inspirational.

Kerry has to come across as one of US..

A gigundus sound byte..

"We the People" are words you'll never hear uttered by the Bush/Cheney team! Those words are like garlic to a vampire!

7. But you left out the qualifier of "Bill's speech."
We need a new poll to address your ideas.

8. Minnesota is in the heartland
So I think the strength and wisdom line will go far. A favorite bumper sticker around here is "somewhere in Texas a village is missing its idiot!"
