SERIOUS QUESTION--CAN ANYONE ANSWER IT?
1. SADDAM THE TARGET
2. SADDAM IN BAGHDAD
3.WHY WAS IT NECESSARY TO ATTACK CITIES ALL OVER A LARGE NATION WHEN TARGET WAS IN ONE CITY?

WAS IT DESIRE TO PROVE OUR POWER? WAS IT TO DISPLAY "SHOCK AND AWE"?

WHY WILL NOT THE PRESS ASK THIS QUESTION?

4. .
the more bombs that are dropped, the more $$$ needs to be reimbursed to Lockheed Martin from Iraqi oil money.

It's like, how much money do you want to earn? (Bush to company evecs.)
$5 billion,
okay, then lets drop 5,000 $1,000,000 bombs.

3. Thank you for asking that question
I always thought that with every bomb we dropped in Iraq we were announcing to the world that our intelligence was for shit. "Let's bomb here...and here...and here. Damn, still didn't get him."

5. Halliburton can't make any money in Baghdad
they need the area around Tikrit, the southern third of the country and all the pipelines in between and connecting to other countries.

7. Here's why
1) Saadam was not necessarilly in Baghdad. If Saadam Hussein was an easy person to kill, Clinton would've done it.

2) The war was not just about Saadam it was about getting rid of the entire regime and making putting a new government into power. Even if he and his two sons had surrendered and left the country in the 48 hours Bush gave them, we still would've sent the troops in to secure the country not just Baghdad. If an enemy invaded America and just took washington DC but didn't move the troops anywhere else we'd just set up the government somewhere else.

3) Even if we had proof Saadam was in Baghdad you can't just drop bombs all over the city too many civilians would die, therefore you need to get ground troops and tanks into the city. There's two ways in, land and air and you can't land airplanes in a city controlled by your enemy now can you.

8. uh, I think it's known as an "invasion"
Saddam wasn't the target. Iraq was. These guys have been wanting to invade the country for a long long time.

It's not like BFEE liked the people who would take charge if just Saddam was killed. Let's see, there were the sons ... then the generals ....

Oh yeah, then there was all the oil they wanted for Halliburton et al.
