The largest sunspot in recorded history is taking aim on Earth and is
3 times the size of any previously known sunspot and could possible create the mother of all solar flares in our direction. What is unusual is that it does not fit into any prior pattern or cycle.
If hit directly by a flare of this magnitude it would reverse the polarity of our Plasma field and draw in more solar radiation (X ray ect.) into our atmosphere.
Don't worry though, even if it did hit us head on you would not be fried but we might get some power outages and bizarre localized storms.
In political science there were always jokes about the sunspot theorists. Well lets see how it effects W this week :)
...if he really does wear some sort of hidden earphone where they tell him what to say, you might see him appear to blank out as he waits for the interference to subside.
But actually now that he's flat-out left during questions once already, he might do that instead!
