Are there going to be widespread exit polls on Nov. 2?
I remember a lot of people after the debacle in 2000 saying that exit polls are worthless and unnecessary, citing the ones that showed Gore winning Florida by a few points while the actual vote count wasn't matching up (of course, it could very well be that the exit polls were much more accurate than the actual vote count), and it seems that some media outlets said they weren't going to use them, or at least not the same way, in future elections so as not to "influence" voters who had not yet voted (another claim the Republicans made).

I ask because with electronic voting seeming like it's going to be fairly common and no paper trail to verify it, how much do you think the results can be skewed from the legitimate vote count without becoming criminally obvious? (e.g., an exit poll in a large county saying that Kerry won 58-40, but the actual number from the machine saying it's 49-49, costing Kerry 20,000 votes or so) What happens if exit polls show that Kerry won Florida 52-47, but Jeb says his brother won by 35 votes and he knows because he had his own people counting and adding in as many votes as necessary?

1. there probably will be but
the networks will say they are going to be very careful about announcing results due to what happened in 2000. For instance if Kerry is winning they will check and double check. As for Bush--if he is winning it will be "Go RED".

2. i hope so
if you want to see my head explode say "the networks (or vns) called it wrong" no, they had it right. they correctly reflected the voters intentions. chads, undervotes, etc aside, clearly the butterfly ballot in palm beach county would have give the elction to gore by a wide margin.
exit polls are badly, badly needed, and need to be defended. they did a better job than the ballots.

"What happens if exit polls show that Kerry won Florida 52-47, but Jeb says his brother won by 35 votes and he knows because he had his own people counting and adding in as many votes as necessary?"

general strike nov 3.

3. I had read that
the 2000 exit polls correlated with the actual results within 1% for all but 2 states---Alaska (2% margin, due to waether and geographical factors), and Florida (5% off---the Jeb Bush margin). Yet another thing our mainstream media is mute on.

6. Yes, but they will be run by AP, a Bushevik Infiltrated and Parasitized
organization

(gosh, what a coinkydink!)

Expect NO help from them. Their exit "polls" using special Freeper methodology, if you know what I eman, will NOW ALWAYS agree with Bushevik-Rigged results.

Always.

100% Totalitarian certainty on this one.

A certain the Nazis would blame theJews for something or the Busheviks blame the Liberals.

(which is really two variations on the same people and the same reactions)
