Gen. Clark is ok in my book...and yes I'm a Dean guy
Edited on Mon Aug-18-03 09:35 PM by KeepItReal
From the Talking Points Memo site:

Here's the Gen. responding to Chickenhawk/punk azzed Tom Delay:

"You know, Wolf, when our airmen were flying over Kosovo, Tom DeLay led the House Republicans to vote not to support their activities, when American troops were in combat. To me, that's a real indicator of a man who is motivated not by patriotism or support for the troops, but for partisan political purposes. "

Dean/Clark anyone???

:-)

(on edit: almost forgot the link!)

3. Dean/Clark
I'm a Dean supporter and didn't quite get Clark, but based on that interview, I'm thinking Dean/Clark would look real good.

8. dean/clark sounds good
I think Dean gives a great speech and Clark
is solid and will nullify the B* is a strong
war leader thing.

They would be great together.

I like Clark too, although I admit I know little about him. I mean, sure, I'm a Dean supporter, but that doesn't mean that I think he is the only good candidate. Dean, Clark, and Kerry are in my top three as far as the ones that I like, and there is one other candidate out of the field of 10 that I just plain dislike (I'll let you decide who that is, as if there is anybody out there that even likes him these days, lol)

11. I think the Draft Clark movement was started by the Dean folks
Hear me out here .... what better way to balance the ticket ... Southern boy, Military, Washingtron insider. Get him the name recognition through a mysterious build up to a labor day announcement.

The fact that the Draft Clark campaign evolved on the internet with the same finnesse as the Dean movement makes me suspicious. Whether Clark goes for the brass ring himself - or has a deal with Dean - who can know ... But I'm mighty curious. Clark is a real winner on any place on the ticket in my book .... and I've been a Kerry fan and supporter.

13. "Dr. Dean is ok in my book...and yes I'm a Clark guy"
I think they're both Presidential material and if Clark doesn't declare, I'm working for Dean. Right now, though, Clark has
REALLY caught my attention.
