Why does Fox even bother with their "Most Liberal Ticket Ever" tripe?
They would say the same damn thing if the ticket was Zell Miller/Joe Lieberman.

2. They certainly would
And it's become a cliche. They've overused it so much that it doesn't mean anything anymore.

3. Little do they know..
.... that they are systematically rehabilitating the word liberal. Pretty soon, "conservative" will be the dirty word.

4. Talking points my friend!
If you notice, all of the Republicans are saying the same thing. That's because they're all reading from the same talking points!

Best wishes,
Will

5. Their diehard viewers are too uninformed to know any better.
They can say whatever they want and they'll accept it.

6. Are you really that surprised?
This is the only way a Nazi network like FOX can survive. They need the extreme us against the boogy man game plan to retain viewership.

9. welcome to DU
That is part of the Right Wing's plan - they throw looneys like Coulter, Ingraham, Hannity & Limbaugh out there to propose ideas that are so extreme that when somebody slighly more moderate than them comes along (i.e., Bush, McCain, etc) the ideas that they propose that were radical & looney a few years back now seem more palatable.

8. They got nothing
Bottom of the barrel time. I wonder if Murdoch is aware of the next near-miss terror attack. Wonder if he's already got his graphics designers working on the waving flags and Christ-like stock photos of Bu$h, so they're ready to play him up as some kind of hero.

16. Because it fires up their faithful...
...and because casual viewers* may see it and be left with the impression.

*)Yes, Virginia, there are "casual viewers" of FOX. Suspiciously, whenever I'm in a public place that has has a newsfeed running (like the major news stand in NYC's Grand Central Terminal), it's tuned to FOX. Wonder how much they pay for such placement?

17. Regardless Of What They'd Say About Zell- Maybe They Say Liberal
Edited on Thu Jul-08-04 09:53 AM by cryingshame
regarding Kerry & Edwards because it's true.

Not that truth means anything to the GOP or the mediawhores.

But what I've read here on DU for the last 2 days are a lot of DU'ers not able to deal with this assertion.

In my survey of Kerry- I'd say well Left of Center but Center for the last several years
Edwards- Center with an occassional forray into the Right.

An avid Edwards supporter informs me however, there's a study saying Edwards IS Left of Kennedy.

Bitch, whine and moan about GOP & Mediwhores trying to pigeon hole the Democratic Candidates.

But that is NOT going to stop them and is NOT a reply.

ARE Kerry & Edwards to the Left of Kennedy and the most Liberal ticket or are they not?

If they are then AFFIRM they are and defend it.
If they are not then decide WHAT you want to call them (Centrists/ Moderates?) and back it up with FACTS.
