spent last week in NYC, got out just in time
used every opportunity to gently feel people out re: sorry state of the nation, war in iraq, w, etc. I talked to people from all over the country and found 9 out of 10 are quite disgusted with the situation. Not just New Yorkers, people from all over the country and a couple of Brits as well. Met a great guy who said he had gotten sucked into the patriotism vortex, but now has regrets- thinks Bush is a liar, the economy sucks etc. I am encouraged and really think in spite of the wealth at his disposal, w will go down next november. it will however require a great candidate, the hard work of all of us, and honest counting of votes. can we manage that? I am hopeful, how about you?

1. i agree..same here..many bush supporters i know now say...
i was fooled by Bush* he has to go!...and these are die hard republican texans :7
