American casualties?
Do they include those killed or wounded on ships in the Gulf? I can't remember seeing any naval personal on a casualitie list, but I'm sure there must be some. I was watching a show about air craft carriers, and they were described as 'one if the most dangerous jobs in America.'

2. Most casulties would not count nowadays
Only "hostile fire" is enough to get you counted in the press.

The press is really bending over backwards (or forwards) to put the best "positive" spin on casulty counts. Sickening.
