When did Judy Woodruff become a media whore?

I remember barfing at an interview Judy did with Mommy Bush at the Republican "Cultural War" Convention in Houston in '92. Judy just ate her up and cooed through the entire interview. She had been cutthroat with Hillary Clinton. She's done nothing to change my mind since, just reinforced her Republican bias.

I just don't understand this Judy Woodruff/Al Hunt, Cokie Roberts/Steve Roberts, Mary Matalin/James Carville kind of thing!

When she was on PBS, McNeill-Lehrer Newshour lurched to the right by offering "equal time," and they started having one actual nonpartisan expert and one right-wing ranter who interrupted and asserted nonsense as guests on every topic. I don't know that she had anything to do with that, but I haven't watched the show since then.

Her husband (like Andrea Mitchell's) is someone famous, but I forget who.

9. She and Wolfie Are "Tired Liberals"

After they got TOTALLY BLITZED by the wingnuts about being "the CLINTON News Network" they are in shell shock, post traumatic stress syndrome.

The thing is, despite that we call just about everybody "media whore", her hubby whassiname on Capital Gang is consistently good for us every week. He and Judy were the ones with their kids in the restaurant, when a drunk Shrub called him "asshole" (in front of the wife and kids).

Yep, she's got post traumatic stuff.

Judy's hubby is lefty left left. And George W. Bush (as we all know) swore at Al and threatened him in a restaurant, in front of Judy, years ago. So Judy can't have ANY use for him. AND, they have a special-needs son (as I understand it, under the 'pugs, special education funds are being cut right and left (so to speak)).

So I can't imagine why she's gone to the dark side. But, oh well. I don't watch her show anymore. Can't take it.

almost every week. I agree about Maggie-loves-Fred-THOMPSON. It irked me that they had her subbing for BEGALA on Crossfire a couple of weeks ago as "on the Left".

Sometimes we're too hard on some of these people, calling just about everybody "media whore". Mark SHIELDS is a good Dem, but he's been called that, too.

Greed will be the undoing of this nation. I only hope that greed and arrogance and hypocrisy will be the undoing of the right wing and their media propagandists FIRST.
