Guard retention down 15%
I just got off the phone with a person I know in the military. He said that the National Guard is down 15% on their retention stats. He said this "is huge".

He also said it will take 5-6 years to add the 30,000 troops that they want to add. It should have been started years ago.

1. There have been calls for years for states to get their State...
...Guards in order, or restarted. The message fell on deaf ears.

2. This problem has been solved
Bush just announced that they were calling back over 5000 retired soldiers. Who needs a draft?
