Pat ourselves on the back thread

Like many others here, I've stood up and taken action for really the first time in my life. Here are some firsts for me in the past couple years:

Attended numerous protests (peace, anti-Bush, etc.)

Helped start a liberal/anti-Bush business.

Interned in an assemblyperson's office

Contributed to a Dem. candidates campaign.

Volunteered/eering for my local Pacifica station.

Given speeches in class on political websites (including DU) and BBV.

etc.

Anyway, this thread is for us to give ourselves a big pat on the back and encourage everybody to get out there and do something.

on a T-shirt and wear it all the time. It is also on the window of my truck!

Other stuff too but that's kinda my favorite.
