why wouldnt Davis just hold a press conference/go on TV
and say " Look , Enron screwed this state bad, the WH was involved in this with their secret energy meetings that the Veep wont release, and this is all a GOP set-up. I am willing to lose my office to get the truth out, but i dont want the election over-turned by a gang of partisan crooks" " I want the people of this state to understand what has happened".

"The tax-payers and voters in California have been victimized by a Nixonian gang of crooks......"

Why wont he come out and say this?

1. Because he is a Ro-Fucking-Bot
He has said many times that the current situation is not his fault.

And robots don't come across as very sincere on TV.

3. Been wondering the same thing
If not Davis, then some other Dem.

Maybe there is something we don't know.

4. He might be waiting for the right time
Davis has already promised that there will be some surprises in this recall. He is not a cowardly Democrat like most of our elected leaders. Keep an eye on what he does, he may impress us yet.
