The wheels are falling of the Bush Admin's bus
I think we've hit the breaking point. Cheney's (Family friendly) comments in the senate the other day appears to be the Straw that broke the camels back. Lets hope

1. A few more straws to come...
Plame Affair indictments, Bush could be personally involved

More violence in Iraq, and God forbid that captured Marine should be harmed

9/11 commission report expected to be very bad for Bush

Denounced by the Pope today for permitting torture

8. And a few more straws
Kitty Kelly's biography on the Bush family due out this fall (remember her exclusive book on Frank Sinatra several years ago?)

Pat Buchanan anti-Repub book due out this fall.

Sharon Bush's tell-all book due sometime in the next few months.

The Supreme Court's expected rulings on terror suspects are expected to thoroughly trash the Bush administration.

Josh Marshall over at Talking Points Memo is talking about an expose he and his colleagues are working on which should be major.

2. Oh, you didn't get the memo:
If Kerry says "the situation in Iraq is fucked up", that is an egregious and terrible unpatriotic obscenity. But our Dear Vice President can say "fuck you" directly to a Senator and there's nothing wrong with that.

See how it works?

5. I'd like to believe this..

..what makes you think it's true -- that Cheney's comments have proven to be the final straw??

For what it's worth, I saw them discussing it on Fox News - with no real consensus about whether it was justified or what the effects would be.

6. Justified?
Oh, yeh, Senate Majority Leader Bill First said "I'll let the American people judge whether it was warranted." And Press Secretary McClellan said "it's not a problem for the President." So, why is the FCC charging thousands of dollars in fines to people who say "Fuck" on TV when it is 'warranted' the President should have no problem with that? That's fucked.

9. Well that is the interesting thing about this group running the country.
Look you figure it out. We can not buy drugs in Canada but they can make bullets for us. They love the flag which is made in China. People had to buy their sons flak vest as the govt did not have enough to give the guard, yet thousands were just sent to the new police in Iraq. It is a madhouse.

11. They still cannot ADMIT to ANY mistake !!!!

You know, at least Clinton got up and apologized for his Monica affair.

These guys are such AMAZING narcissists. The simplist thing (and honorable thing) to do would be to APOLOGIZE!!!!! Instead, these people are rationalizing Cheney's behavior like a bunch of schoolchildren.

These people are DEFINITELY NOT adults. They're overgrown schoolchildren who have no real emotional maturity.

7. The "no real consensus" part is key...
You might find the "no real consensus" part is an interesting tool that leaves everybody else without a consensus either, including repugs.

10. You just reminded me of a Simpsons episode ...

One of the holloween epidodes the Gremlin and the Bus.

In this case, Michael Moore is the Gremlin who is tearing the wheels off the bus.
