8. Wrong.
Don't tell people their "votes don't count" if they're not voting for YOUR candidate.

I thought that was obvious. But ,a progressive vote vor Arianna is a wasted , spoiler vote that will naderize California. It is time for Arianna to get out of the race.

14. Glad to see the humor in the arianna camp. Now I know
it's not her writting that made you such a staunch advocate.

4. I've heard conflicting explanations of the balloting process.

Some here pn DU have stated that you can vote NO on the recall but still cast a vote for another in the event that Davis is recalled.
A couple of weeks ago a local San Diego newscast stated that if you vote No on recall you need not turn to the next page and vote for a candidate. ?????
Anyone here know for sure?

6. Which is why...
this recall is all crazy. Nobody seems to quite what the process is for voting in this recall, and I've seen a lot of reliable sources give bad information about it. Is it even fair to have an election when a lot of people are probably confused about the whole recall process? I don't think so, there is a lot of confusion to be sorted out among California voters.

LOL it is probably best for me to not say what the process is because I don't understand it all that well myself, I'm sure somebody out there must know for sure... anybody?

12. Yes, you can vote NO and vote for a candidate.
It's still being decided in court whether you can decline to vote on the recall yet still vote for a candidate. Maybe that's where you got confused.

13. Last I heard
Your vote in the recall counts, whether you vote yes, no, or leave it blank.

California is one of those silly 'count every vote' states, like Florida. (sarcasm)

IF you are voting in California, REMEMBER: if the machine cannot read it, it is not a valid vote. California law is different from Florida and Texas. Make a clear mark, don't let your chad hang, fill the circle all the way with your #2 pencil, whatever it takes.

5. Recall No, Bustamante Yes!
The rethuglicans really thought they had gamed this recall but ....

Did you see Issa blubbering when he said he wasn't running. I knew it was all over when Aunold got in so Riordan couldn't. Bad move.

Recall No, Bustamante Yes!

10. the ballot will be in TWO
parts - 1st part is recall vote no; SECOND part is the directory of candidates take your time cuz the alphbet has been lotteried and the B's will B 5th place. IF you feel uncertain - Call your registrar of voters and request an absentee ballot APPLICATION. You then can take your time, vote and go to your polling place and hand it in.
