Does anyone think Gore is hurting Kerry with his fiery speeches ?
Personally, it gives me hope that someone is speaking up and telling it like it is. Of course, all the Repubs will say he was over the top. Translated, that means he was right on target. He hit a bullseye! Anyone think this is bad for Kerry?

4. NOPE, Nope & Nope
Al Gore gives me goosebumps when he tells it like it is. Kerry - take notes!! If the Repubs don't like it - well you know the ole saying - screw um. They never cared for the truth.

5. No--ne-nein-nyet! I think Gore is doing Kerry's dirty work for him....
...the way Kennedy is also, and Cheney does it for Dumbo. It has to be said.

Edited on Thu Jun-24-04 04:02 PM by lovedems
They say the things conservative "politicians" can't say. The difference between Al and the RW haters is Al tells the truth!

The conservatives are just pissed because we keep adding to our list of liberals who also say things the politicians can't say! Al Gore should be in the WH but since it was stolen from him, he is trying to tell the truth behind those who robbed him of his place in history. Go Al!

Kerry should be saying these things rather than leaving it to others.

13. No way!
Al "The Real President" Gore says the things Kerry can't say. He's putting it on the line for the nominee in the way that no one did for Gore in 2000. Someone should have been playing this role during the last election. There was enough material to work with even then.

14. No, but the RW just loves to pick at Gore. Now they are saying Gore
is hurting Kerry by sounding "deranged." (Tucker Carlson spouting the RW Talking Points today) Funny thing is that the more the RW uses the same old, same old tactics the more ridiculous they are starting to sound. It's like going to a play you've seen over and over, and after awhile you start to pick out the flaws and delve more into the way it was written than how it's being performed.

RW has nothing to run on that's "safe" for them anymore. So, they run on attacking Dems. They were successful before with that so they keep using it until it makes one :puke:

21. I hope the sheeple can pick up
now on how "ridiculous" it sounds. The rw is so prolific with its personal attacks..but they claim to not understand why there is "such a hatred" for this president(sic).

Now I hear via MoPaul's thread that they have an ad on the internet with bush calling the Liberals..nazis!

15. I've noticed that the republicans say
the following will "hurt" Kerry: (1) Gore telling the truth; (2) Bill Clinton's book; (3) talking about the economy; (4) talking about foreign policy; and (5) questioning the honesty of this administration. Gosh! We know that these republicans are looking out for our best interests. And they love freedom. The more I listen to them, the more I question Kerry. Maybe Kerry was wrong to expose the Iran-Contra scandal. And I am wondering if Kerry's service in Vietnam really matches bush or Dan Quayles'? I'm going to have trouble sleeping tonight, worrying that democrats aren't following Sean Hannity's advice.

by speaking out. Too bad the "liberal" media had Gore on iggy when he argued against proceeding with the Iraq invasion.

24. No! Keep blasting away, Al!!!!
The RW media can say all they want to about Al being "over the top," etc., but I find his impassioned speeches to be a comfort.

Hopefully Al will inspire more Democrats to speak out -- and loudly, too!

25. I think it opens the door for others to be passionate.
If you had told people five years ago that candidates would be having trouble matching the fire of an Al Gore speech, they would have called you nuts.

Now, he has nothing to lose and doesn't want to go to his grave with the regrets he carried after 2000. Good for him.

27. No
but since he is not running for anything, I don't see what impact it would have at all except that he may be redeeming himself from the mistakes made when he ran for president and had the eleection stolen from him and his words do give hope and encouragement to us.

It is the human spirit expressing itself; a man attempting to make right what he recognizes now was a mistake in the election, but as far as the 2004 election goes I do not think it makes much difference

I love him for doing it.

28. Nope.
And hopefully neither does his 500,000 voter advantage over Bush.

500,000.

One more time, 500,000.

And they treat the man like he was beaten soundly.

He should keep firing away.

No apologies.
