pro-choice in military
Turn the tables!

The right-wing Family Research Council is urging letters to senators about Barbara Boxer's amendment to S. 2400, the National Defense Authorization Act. Her amendment would require the Department of Defense to pay for abortions in the case of rape or incest.

Here's how I modified their message: As one of your constituents I ask you to vote for the Boxer amendment to S. 2400, the National Defense Authorization Act. Her amendment would require the Department of Defense to pay for abortions in the case of rape or incest. No woman should be forced to bear a child conceived in violence. I want my tax dollars to serve women in the military. Please vote for this amendment and I look forward to seeing your vote.
