Though I am still unimpressed by such a display, I did find a bit ironic when looking at the timeframe.

At the time, Pat Robertson and the 700 people were hot for Tucker to get released since she had become born again. Nevermind that nasty pickaxe business, she's found Jesus Christ. The fact that Bush was making fun of this is bizarrely ironic. Bush's behavior was still undignified but people try and make her a saint for the sole reason Bush was callous towards her.

I remember this very well and not one person I recall
was asking for her release. She never once claimed to
be innocent.

Bush was much worse than "undignified." He held the
power of life and death over her and he mocked her
terror of her impending public death ritual. He is
scum and has never accepted any responsibility for any
of his wrongdoings.
