McCain
I'm thinking that with this "McCain" push for Bush deal going on it makes alot of sense for Rove. Cheney is becoming more and more of a liability. McCain campaining w/Bush at Ft Lewis(I think that's where the news photo was). Bush can't run on his own record or Cheney's, But they could on McCain's. What'd ya think? McCain for VP?

For sure , they know it will take the steam out of Kerry
But how do they get rid of Cheney, does he resign or go to prison?

1. Very possible
I saw his performance today and it was sicking! He has always wanted to be president, so he most likely would settle for first position ass licker! With hope of more later. Too bad his efforts will be in vain. BUSH WILL LOOSE

2. possible but doubtful
mccain's a maverick and i don't think he wants to be ANYone's second in command.

i noticed, too, today, that he didn't seem thrilled to be up there with bush... he was quick to step away when bush came up, but bush kinda kept him there saying something in his ear.

5. I think Democrats have fell right into the Republican's hands with
McCain. I personally think the Republicans will get rid of Cheney to keep some of the heat off of Bush then Bush and McCain will run together (although I could be wrong). I think they are holding off as long as they can for the Republican Convention so that it is held near 9/11 and it gives them more time to see if they should get rid of Cheney if polls aren't looking good for Bush/Cheney then I think we can count on a Bush/McCain ticket. I don't trust McCain anymore than any other Republican running this country (he's a good con man too)
ELECT KERRY 2004!!!!

8. McCain plays up the maverick thing
but when push comes to shove, he falls in line with the GOP.

As for a Bush/McCain ticket, I don't think so because I don't think they personally like each other. And Bush is not a big enough man to put that behind him.

14. But after McCain saw how easy Cheney took control of the W.H.
He probably thinks he could get control too. Perfect Job, Puppeteer

3. McCain is a Kerry mistake.
As far as I'm concerned, when McCain started praising Bush, he joined the ranks of Colin Powell, Tommy Franks, etc.

7. I've been musing that for a while now...
I've posted it here a few times. I think McCain, who has become QUITE the Bush lapdog, is in the running for VP, should that position become available. I honestly don't see what either party is drooling over with this guy. He's interesting, and can really have some great zingers against the GOP, but he's pretty much a politico curmudgeon who can't seem to stop kissing the ass that destroyed him viciously in the primaries 2000.

9. But Cheney IS the president. Who's gonna call the shots?
Cheney would have to be shunted into another position. McCain would have to accept being excluded from the day to day criminal operations. Also, when Bush declairs martial law after a MIHOP sitch, what would McCain do? My guess is any future post-election MIHOP op in a Bushco admin would involve the destruction of congress along with McCain allowing for Martial law and the excercise of that brand new congress restocking plan.

Ya'll vote now, ya hear?

13. If McCain joined Junior's ticket and they won in November.....
Some Republican out there would "take one for the team" - in the way that Agent Mike wouldn't want us to discuss - for the good of the country.
