Saudi Arabia and the rise of anti US militancy. Why no discussion?
We hear little or nothing about Saudi Arabia's responsibilities in the rising militancy of Islamic fundamentalism.

More specifically, we hear little or nothing from our Administration, and like it or not Bushco is our Administration, about any attempts to address the original focus of al Qaeda militancy: the ties between the US and the House of Saud.

It appears we are beyond the point of no return with the Bush "liberation in the Greater Mid East" politico-theology.

Broader, international voices of historical reality in the chain of events called Islamic terrorism are needed. That includes the Islamic world...

I have no desire at all to support an American/Islam trans-global eye for an eye standoff.

De-escalate the militant jingoism. Incorporate more experienced partners. Be up front about realistic threats. Try some honesty about the role Saudi Arabia has in its relationships with the West and its internal relationship with Wahibi Muslims. Stop the politicization of the "war on terror".
