Clinton: Affair 'darkest part of inner life'
NEW YORK (AP) -- Bill Clinton says in his new autobiography that his wife looked as if he had punched her in the gut when he finally confessed to his affair with Monica Lewinsky, and he spent at least two months sleeping on the couch after that.

1. Didja notice one of Big Dog's comments could be taken as a slam on *?
"I did something just because I could."

"That's the most morally indefensible reason for ever doing something."

You mean, like starting an unnecessary war that kills thousands? Oh, right, I forgot, our RW theocracy despises sex but worships death.:eyes:

4. Seriously...
At least Clinton was remorseful about what he did.

Bush, on the other hand, is insistant (sp?) about going to war with Iraq...Saddam and Al Queda are linked because he said so.

And because he said so, someone else got his head cut off.

Sex is worse than beheading? It's news to me.

2. This part is quite revealing
He wrote that he came to learn his upbringing had made certain things more difficult for him than for other people, and that he was particularly prone to self-destructive behavior when he was tired, angry or feeling alone.

3. Could MSNBC run that scene of Clinton hugging Monica just a couple
more thousand times?

Not only is it irrelevant to anything, but it's also years old.

Now that's flipping journalism!

6. Funny how the right wing says they despise Clinton because they "had"
to explain a blow job to their children when

A) They could have minded their own f-ing business and stayed out of a mans PERSONAL affairs.

B) They spent millions of our precious TAX dollars, getting all the dirty details so THEY could put them before the media

C) I'd rather explain sex to my child then an illegitimate war!:eyes:

7. The most stupid part of his presidency.
I never gave a rip about Clinton's, or anyone else's sex life, but I found his risk taking, and later attempt to cover it up, incredibly stupid.

I just kept wishing he would have stood up and said, "It's none of your damned business."

8. but you really can't blame him for trying to cover this up
the repurcussions would've been awful, and they were. He's only human, and the natural thing to do when we know we're going to be in trouble is to hide the truth. I don't agree with what he did, but I don't believe it is wrong that he tried to cover it up.
