Ronald Prescott Reagan has choice words for President Bush -- not words of approval.

He told Chris Matthews that administration officials have no business invoking the Reagan name to justify war in Iraq."

Reagan: "My father never felt the need to wrap himself in anybody else's mantle or pretend to be anybody else. I don't know what's wrong with these people -- they have to keep invoking him. It is their administration, their war. If they can't stand on their own two feet, they're no Ronald Reagans, for sure."

7. No, not the hard-core

but some of those Reagan Democrats may think twice. I think there are quite a few people who are basically apolitical except that they (Gawd knows why) loved Reagan and have fond memories of his administration. Ron the Younger, with his "how dare they" could have an impact on them. The guy is really, really articulate and no nonsense. We're already getting a lot of "Reagan would have supported this" garbage from the 'pubs. Who better than his son to squash that kind of stuff?

with Tweety on MSNBC. I think MSNBC has been grooming him. Might be fun to see his comments covering the Repug lovefest in September.

I wish they'd give him a show. Love to see him replace that ahole Dennis Miller on CNBC.
