11:00 EST Piehole ALERT! * to speak to audience of...
Edited on Fri Jun-18-04 10:05 AM by nostamj
wait for it................

TROOPS!

<yawn>

To the tune of “SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS”

CONVOLUTED SYNTAX AND A MANGLING OF THE GRAMMAR
EVERY TIME YOU HEAR HIM SPEAK
YOU WANT TO GRAB A HAMMER
BUT IF YOU DARE TO PROTEST
YOU'LL END UP IN THE SLAMMER
CONVOLUTED SYNTAX AND A MANGLING OF THE GRAMMAR

UM TERRA TERRA TERRA UM SMOKE ‘EM OUT
UM TERRA TERRA TERRA UM SMOKE ‘EM OUT

OUR GEORGIE IS NO ORATOR
AS YOU CAN PLAINLY SEE
AND READING OFF A MONITOR
HE DOES JUST AWFULLY
IT’S THE SAME SPEECH HE SPEECHED BEFORE
BUT STILL CAN’T GET IT RIGHT
I GET ANNOYED AT THIS DULL BORE
AND I CAN’T BE POLITE:

IT’S CONVOLUTED SYNTAX AND A MANGLING OF THE GRAMMAR
EVERY TIME YOU HEAR HIM SPEAK
YOU WANT TO GRAB A HAMMER
BUT IF YOU DARE TO PROTEST
YOU'LL END UP IN THE SLAMMER
CONVOLUTED SYNTAX AND A MANGLING OF THE GRAMMAR
(Whisper:)
CONVOLUTED SYNTAX AND A MANGLING OF THE GRAMMAR
(Full:)
CONVOLUTED SYNTAX AND A MANGLING OF THE GRAMMAR!

7. "IT’S THE SAME SPEECH HE SPEECHED BEFORE"

he only has one *speech* and repeats it every time. he just changes the name of the city.

utterly pathetic. and these poor soldiers are forced to listen and applaud the fraud...

13. McCain ought to be ashamed for selling his fellow veterans down the river
by signing on to Bush's war in Iraq by saying Bush "took the fight to Iraq". It is not enough, Mr. McCain, to say that Saddam used WMD before and "was determined to possess them again someday." It is not enough to say that the war in Iraq "gives hope to people long oppressed by the tyrant Saddam Hussein." This is not why the Bush administration went to war in Iraq, but was the only remaining justification when WMD proved elusive. Their answer was to pull the UN inspectors out, trash the UN, and go to war--an unnecessary, costly and bloody war which has made us less secure today--not more.

Shame on you, John McCain, for supporting George W. Bush while you purport to long for the Republican party of Teddy Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. You have sold out these principles by keeping the Republican party in power at any cost. Standing by the side of this man is reprehensible. If there were any integrity in the GOP, he and Cheney would have been impeached long ago for taking us to war in Iraq rather than pursuing Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan.

McCain is attempting to rehabilitate Dubya's campaign. How utterly sad for McCain to support these thugs, who completely lack honor and integrity. One must ask why McCain puts party above principle? Why, indeed?

15. military audience
he has to keep the war in front of the people somehow. If he did not speak in front of these type of audiences he might have to answer tough questions from people who are allowed to speak. Have you seen any of the military stand up and ask a question. Have you ever seen any of the military disagree with what he says.

But he can't make this war look good. He is only killing more innocent Americans and the public is waking up to that.

21. Isn't that a cult classic horror movie from 1993?
"Army of Darkness," starring GWB as a horrible zombie-like creature incapable of stringing two words together coherently....

I just happened to tune to CNN: Bush, troops behind him. The words "free Iraq." <click>

That was all I needed to see and hear.

This was already old a year ago.

25. thanks!
we use that in a medley with Cole Porter's "Brush Up Your Shakespeare"

just a snip:

THE ONES TODAY WHO ADORE THE PREZ
MUST IGNORE THE DUMB THINGS HE SEZ
AND TO PROVE OUR POINT WE WILL QUOTE AT LENGTH
ELOQUENCE IS JUST NOT HIS STRENGTH.
HE FOOLED US ONCE AND THE SHAME’S ON US
BUT THE SIMPLETON IS SO DEVIOUS
THEY BLESS ALL HIS BLUNDERS AND TWISTED LIES
TORTURED DICTION MUST GIVE THEM A RISE.
SO THEY APPLAUD WITH GLEE
AND THEY THINK HIS SMIRK IS SO CUTE
BUT WHEN I LOOK I SEE.
A CHIMPANZEE IN A FLIGHTSUIT

24. I smelled something rotten when I woke up this morning..
..then I realized the Chimp would be within 20 miles of my house. Since last night, around 9pm, the military jets have been circling the area non-stop. on my tax dollars, of course.
