he used saddam and 9-11 in the same sentence. for over a year. so this little word trick did it. then, yesterday, he insisited saddam and al qaeda and bin laden are all connected, so, he's caught in a treasoable lie

I think he is playing word games not unlike Clinton, although obviously he is no Clinton.
I think if anything he is guilty of misrepresenting, trying to maintain that there was MORE of a connection than there actually was.

One thing I am having trouble resolving is how the hell Osama bin Laden would EVER have approached Iraq for help? I read this just this AM. I though he was against Western culture, which Saddam embraced?
Anyway, Bush is at least guilty of misrepresenting the truth, and certainly of misleading for his purposes. The question is can Kerry make this case? Can we clearly show that Bush was a slimeball misleader?
