Help with debunking "Abdul Rahman Yasin" - Richard Miniter
Edited on Thu Jun-17-04 08:27 PM by gmaki
A freeper on another board cut and pasted a whole load of BS that "proves" ties between Saddam and Al Qaeda. I have decided to try and thoroughly debunk the first point if possible and be done with it.

it is:

"Abdul Rahman Yasin, a member of the al Qaeda cell that detonated the 1993 World Trade Center bomb, fled to Iraq. U.S. forces recently discovered a cache of documents in Tikrit, Saddam's hometown, that show that Iraq gave Yasin both a home and a salary."

This seems to be reported by a guy named Richard Miniter and that is the only source I can find for it.

Can either the "evidence" itself or Miniter be discredited?
