trouble somewhere...of a serious nature I mean...at some theatre showing "Fahrenheit 9/11." Look for them to start ramping their shit up over the course of the next week!
By the way, the theatre chain that's showing it where I am isn't even on their hit list. However the state I live in is only showing it in four cities.
I'll be taking my 8 year old neice, and God help the first one of these slimeballs that gets in my face!

8. My local Edwards (Regal) cinema..

...already has lots of security on a regular basis, especially on the weekend. I have no worries that anyone will do anything stupid, at least at that theatre. I think that trouble will be a real possibility at those cinemas that don't tighten up security for at least the first weekend showing.

9. pretty funny exchange on freeper radio this morning...

....the new guy at the right-wing nutcase station was ranting about Moore;'s movie , calling it '90 percent lies' and such. A couple of callers came up with even weirder crap and then one guy took him to the woodshed.
"Have you seen the film?"
"No, I don't intend to give Michael Moore any of my hard-earned money."
"Then how can you..." and so on. the caller let him have it pretty good and then the host went on another sputtering rant of a couple minutes.
Finally the caller said "You're an asshole." which made it onto the air, sending the host into convulsions.

11. Actually i don't think you'll see

more than a smattering of inbreds protesting at theaters. Look at all the pro-war rallies that Clear channel tried to have and hardly anyone showed up. Many freepers are all talk, no action unless theres a box of hostess snack cakes around, but thats based on the pictures i've seen of many of them.

14. I carry a concealed handgun

I wrote a liberal-leaning column for 5 years for my local alternative weekly and got multiple death threats from Republicans against myself and my wife and kids. I know many of you may not like the idea, but I got myself a concealed carry permit. These days I am fully prepared to defend my family when we're out in public. I hope I never, ever have to even think about using it. I will be carrying discreetly when my family and I attend Friday night's screening. That's how worried I am about the right wing. Don't ever think they wouldn't kill you to keep you from exercising your rights. They threatened the lives of my wife and children because I wrote thiings they disagreed with. I'm sure they'd threaten to kill any of us for attending this movie.
