Send Bush Your Student Loan Bill
"June 17, 2004
Send Bush Your Student Loan Bill
Thursday 10:46 AM
This week, Congress is considering an amendment to the 1965 Higher Education Act—legislation that would, among other things, increase the average student's loan payments by $5,500 over 10 years. And, ironically, the amendment is being called the College Access and Opportunity Act. Tell Bush that increasing interest payments is no way to help make college accessible to more students. Take action with the Campaign For America's Future and send your student loan bill to the Bush administration! ACT NOW"

1. Education should be publicly funded, pre=k through college.
End of story.

2. Great idea, I should get my son to do this.
He could send it along with one of his paycheck stubbs for his temporary job.

So much for Thomas Freidman's and others' idea about how exporting jobs makes people improve their skill set and get better jobs.

Problem is that it is a PYRAMID scheme, all of those lower level jobs cannot be replaced by FEWER upper level jobs.

3. PYRAMID scheme, good analogy...
...this is exactly what the BushCo economic plan has become, a giant pyramid scheme based on each American requiting others who will provide a cut of their efforts in exchange for either doing the work or franchising out the work for an additional cut. Corporation CEO's and owners get the biggest cuts, everyone else gets what trickles out from below. That can get old very quickly.
