Heard on ClearChannel's Flagship Station: Theatres are rejecting F9/11

Yes, Clear Channels 50,000 Watt WOAI station in San Antonio when doing their morning news, always throws jab and takes a stab at liberals. This morning, they were reporting that Theatre owners have taken the pulse of the the American Movie-going public, and are rejecting to show F/911. Their evidence was that Moore had bragged that that the F/911 would be opening on 1000 screens, but a count of all the outlets that would be showing the film only came up with a little over 400 theatres "according to Michael Moore's website"

Weren't there some issues with the website? I antagonize these guys often with emails etc, about their overt rightwing reporting and snide freeper-like comments that they insert into their news reports. Has anyone actually counted how many theatres are involved or anyone have anything to refute???

1. Good publicity. Right up there with O'Lielly's suit against Al Franken.

2. According to Micheal Moore's website...
"They will open it on a record number of screens for a documentary. There is no stopping it now!"

doesn't say anything about "1000 screens". Clear Channel is lying.

4. Moore's website said it'd be showing @ 500 theatres.
And that dates back to when he first posted that info on his website. I've been following it, waiting to see the release info. I never saw that it said "1000."

5. Who Cares...It'll Be On The Screens That Count
Damn, it won't debut at the Plano Cineplex, but it sure will at malls in all the swing states...and that's all we care about.

Then, there's the DVD that will hit those areas that didn't see it at your neighborhood Blockbuster.

This is like the stupid meme that since Bunnypants won more counties (and more steers) that somehow legitimizes his stealing of the election.

Let 'em spin...remember which ears they play to anyway.

Lowery Mayes runs that station personally.
