power's back in my neighborhood . . .
I'm in Rockland County, on the west bank of the Hudson about 35 miles north of the City . . . got power back about 20 minutes ago . . .

2. I suspect that most places will have power back by morning
but it could take a few days for them to find and fix the root problem.

4. Excellent. Better than we get when tornadoes hit.
Down here in the deep south we get power knocked out for days if not weeks.

Of course we deal, and we do have millions, but not in one place!

5. The power outage caused us in upper New York State to be
without the internet for about 3 hours. Nothing compared to those poor People stranded underground in the subway! :-(

6. Glad you are back.
Makes one emphasize with the Iraqis who are living without power in 120 degree heat. And it has been going on for three months not just three hours.

Nice to have New York coming back on line. You all have been hit the hardest in the last two years.
