Dead Zone (USA) just opened with touch screen voting machine

If you haven't watched the series, there's a really slimely politician named Stillson running for president. Johnny keeps having visions of this guy causing Armageddon.

They just opened with Stillson's stooges showing him a touch screen machine, telling him there's no paper trail and saying "Nothing can stop us now."

3. Fabulous. When screenwriters start using stuff like this in their

series, it reaches a wide range of people, who ordinarily wouldn't know about these things. They might be apolitical and don't vote, but it spreads the issue into the mainstream.

I don't know who's producing it, though I bet it qualifies as at least partly a Canadian production so it can be eligible for provincial tax credits.

Didn't know it started up again. Cool. I sort of like this one. Chris Walken can't be topped, but the concept is fascinating nonetheless.
