Poor chimpy....................don't cry

U.S. President George W. Bush (news - web sites) pauses while announcing the resignation of Director of Central Intelligence George Tenet on the South Lawn of the White House, June 3, 2004. Tenet has resigned for personal reasons, President George W. Bush said on Thursday. 'I will miss him,' Bush told reporters after accepting Tenet's resignation in a White House meeting. The president then boarded Marine One for a trip to Europe. REUTERS/Larry Downing

1. That
That is the face of a man who knows he's about to get hit hard in the press. Tenet can bury him and he knows it.

2. Wow...he's showing more emotion and empathy for a guy
who quit his job than he ever has for the millions who have lost theirs through no fault of their own on his watch.

7. Did Bush say Tenet was 'exemplulary'?
Just heard the clip on AAR and couldn't quite make it out. It sounded like 'exemplulary'.

I know he said Tenet did a 'stupendous' job. That's what he said about Rumsfeld, so I'm not sure Bush knows what that word means. Will everyone he calls 'stupendous' leave their jobs?

sometimes they irritate me with the imagery. wedding band always present, little american flag, western-tailored suit, power tie, all-american haircut, and the fake face of concern.
