I'm back from Vacation - what happened last week?

I took a needed vacation and stayed away from the news. So what did I miss?

1. I was gone the week before, the toughest part

of watching and seeing news again is the "fresh" horror of it all. No news was good news for a brief time. Take an extra week of not knowing, unless you are heavily invested in the stock market/House of Saud
