When is Kerry going to make his VP choice?

Is there a definite date? Will he wait until pretty close to the convention? I wish he could make it during the Repub convention but I guess that isn't possible? :) Will it be in June or July? Will he be waiting for a slow news cycle to get the most exposure? What will determine when he picks his VP?

...holiday.

They'll probably want three days of coverage in the media before the holiday starts (eg, day 1: announce, day 2: go to VP's home state for publicity and coverage, day 3: bio day for the VP, day 4: news goes on vacation and America discusses).

That he will not make his choice early, which means before the convention. It is usual for the person who is nominated to be the candidate to announce his selection for running mate after he is nominated and for a vote of confidence from the delegates.

and all the rest to do his dirty work for him?
