The thread in question seems to have been deleted, but perhaps we could resurrect the topic in a more peaceful manner - if there are party moderates or conservatives out there who feel as if DU needs to be "controlled" according to their POV, I think that in itself merits discussion.

How about it? Should DU be "controlled" from any particular point of view within the party?

...and operate from the premise that we do not need to be more quiet or guarded but more vocal. The Repubs need to see that Democrats are not going to lie down just because they say some comments are "intemperate" or such. Of course, inclusive with that is a certain degree of respect from each DUer to the other. i know that has never been a problem with you, ulysses...:)
