Plus Dr. Elaine Kamarck blogs as well. Also Arianna Huffington. This is amazing in just a few days.
Also below the first post is David Van Os, a Dean Dozen for the Texas Supreme Court. His post is excellent as well. Texas has an all Republican Supreme Court, so this is an excellent choice for DFA support.

Petition Gathers 100,000 Signatures in 4 Days
Electronic voting machines threaten the integrity of American democracy -- and the American people are responding.

Four days after Governor Dean asked Americans to join his call for a verifiable voting process, over 100,000 people have signed the petition.

Since the drive began, the op-ed space on democracyforamerica.com has featured electronic voting experts David Dill, a Stanford professor and founder of verifiedvoting.org, and Bev Harris, author of Black Box Voting. And commentators Arianna Huffington and Elaine Kamarck have weighed in to support the cause.

The message will be delivered to state election officials and the U.S. Congress that the American people demand accurate and verifiable election results -- missing votes, extra votes, and no paper trail are unacceptable.

The largest e-voting machine company is headed by a major Bush contributor who has promised to "deliver Ohio's electoral votes to President Bush". Diebold isn't waiting for lawmakers to make up their minds -- and neither can we. Diebold has already marketed, sold and installed its "TSx" voting machine in four California counties before full testing, federal qualification, or even complying with the state certification program.

One protester's sign said at an April rally outside the California Secretary of State's office during hearings into Diebold's failed machines: "The computer ate my vote."

If you haven't signed yet, read Governor Dean's letter and view the petition. If you've already added your name, send an invitation to your friends -- over 22,000 signatures have come directly in response to your outreach. Keep spreading the word!
