The report was on the terror alerts by a local news guy named Connaty. At the end he went on about how it appears al-Qaeda favors kerry over Bush in November.

I was so damn mad I almost kicked the TV. :mad:

21. I Called!

Hi,

I didn't see it on TV, but I called....the woman answering the phone sorta laughed when I asked her if it was true that Al Queda was backing Kerry. She put me on hold and then came back and asked if I was calling to confirm. I said "Yes" and she put me on hold again....after a 10 minute wait she came back.

I asked her how she "knew" that Al Queda was backing Kerry, were they in touch with Al Queda and if they were I thought that the government should be notified. I asked how they got that information....did they do a survey of Al Queda members, did they send out a mailing....how exactly did they know it to be true.

She, Valerie Ladic could not answer my question and said that they did not actually say that Al Queda was backing Kerry, rather Al Queda was trying to influence the election. Again I asked her HOW they knew that to be fact? Again, Valerie did not know; however she suggested I call back tomorrow and speak with the person on duty. I asked for a name....she told me Jim Selle.

Well, Chicagoans....you know what to do...give them a call.
