I Understand
Edited on Fri May-28-04 01:56 PM by burythehatchet
Al Gore's speech this week was one of the most important public addresses in the last 50 years.

The Facts:
The public understands that Gore won and that Bush got in.
They're now OK with it. You know, move on.
Three and a half years later the same public has awakened to a national nightmare wrought by these thugs.
Gore has been making huge speeches with a very articulate message, and awakening in the public conscience the notion that "hey, Gore was gonna be the pres. Would he have gotten us here?", they ask themselves.

And as the reality of the situation is becoming clearer, President Gore addresses the nation with a sharp, reasoned critique of the mess, and lays his reputationi on the line.

The repubs implode.

I believe the election was won TODAY by John F. Kerry.

The FBI and DOJ publicly made contrdictory statements about the terror threat. The ONE freaking thing that bushco was running on is shot...dead.

On a clip of the press conf wiht Mueller and Asskroft, Mueller was visibly PISSED. He barely shook lil John's hand, and was fidgeting as he stood about four feet away from him. He had to be TOLD to move in closer to Asskroft for the image and the camera.

Why is this important? It is because Asskroft came out with the "credible", "corroborated", "specific", intelligence. HOMELAND SECURITY was saying NOTHING like that. There is a huge crack in the misadministration. The public has now seen it. You won't hear about it too much, but its been embedded into the psyche.

Game Over.

1. Tom Ridge just downplayed Ashcroft's hyperbole
This has legs, I figure.

I noticed Mueller's loathing of close proximity to Ashcroft, it was very telling.

What a tangled web.
