This morning when I tried to get through to speak with David Brock a screener refused to put my question on air.Listening to the show as much as I do,one begins to wonder why you hear so many like-sounding voices.On the dem side a lot of women and feminine sounding men.On the Support Pres Bush side it's either the Christian thing and how Bush is a man of God or redneck ignorant name-calling men.I was taken to task by a few who said "I shouldn't call on the republican line"and"don't do that".You know what why do DEMOCRATS HAVE TO PLAY BY THE SO-CALLED RULES?Look where it's gotten us.t I tried the dem line and forget about it,it's always busy.But,if you DO get through on the dem line(and I'm speaking from personal experience here),if the screener doesn't like your anti Bush message all you'll hear is; "click".The last time I got on in July I had to use a southern accent and deception.That day's host, Brian Lamb was looking off stage with a WTF look on his how did this get through look on his face.We need to look into this,it's critical in my opinion.The airwaves do NOT belong to the RIGHT WING EXCLUSIVELY.We must fight

I, for one, listen to the Washington Journal daily. It appears that anti-*bush supporters have been expressing their disdain once they get on the air on the pro-bush line, because the "do not support *bush" screeners have been unusually hostile to them. Lately, the "do not support *bush" callers are also frequently 'clipped' before they can get their entire point expressed. I emailed this complaint to c-span last week and have heard nada. They used to be more even-handed.

5. I listen to WJ daily and I don't see it.

As far as the dems calling on the reps line, well the reps do it too. You can get away with it just don't admit up front that you had to call into that line because the other one was busy...they'll cut you off faster than a dog chasing a cat. When someone gets thru you hear the complaints on both sides although lately more on the repuke line. There was one moderator that was criticized here because he let some woman from Arkansas go on and on with her anti-Clinton and anti-Dem and anti-black rant. But I really believe he let her say her piece because he is showing the rest of the world how she is a very ignorant, stupid and racist person. It was not because he agreed with what she had to say.
