I'd like to say what I really think, but I can't bring myself to put in print!!

Did any of you happen (like I unfortunately did) to hear him this morning? I was in our employee lounge where the TV is. I came into his "rant" at the end, so I don't know what precipitated it...but he said Maureen Dowd should have her picture taken with Newt Gingrich's underwear on her head. But then he went off on the entire Today Show, saying all of them should be "put on a bus and blown up". My God, what's wrong with this man??? Then he said something like he didn't care what he said, we were all going to die anyway, so what does it matter?? Is he completely insane?

How do people like this even manage to be given air time? I don't think I'm being naive here, but this was just the moronic ravings of a sleaze-oid, drunken fool. I have no idea what Al, Katy, Matt or Ann did to warrant Imus' raving death wish. They all work for NBC, you'd think decency would prevail here.

1. when he worked in Cleveland years ago...

and my brother and I were in radio, my brother would make a daily habit of picking Imus up after his latest episode and taking him home. Hell that was light years ago.

Can we all say "personal issues"? Radio does kill brain cells. At least it killed all mine.

7. Guess You Didn't Hear The "Terrorist Expert" Who Blew Apart Asscroft

Anyone who wasn't stoned or coked wasn't "in radio" in the 70's. Wanna dare look into the drug pasts of some of our "icons"...let's not go there. Rushbo is the exception due to his incredible hypocrisies that invite his past and present life to be scrutinized as he does the lives of others...Imus doesn't do that.

He had a "terrorism expert" on who just trashed that "BELO" list; saying most were long-known to FBI and intel agents, including two who were involved in the Nairobi bombings in 1998. This guy said he sensed this was more politics, and that the suspects we should worry about are the unknown, not the known ones.

It's interesting now to see people who just a few months ago were aping the RoveCo. lines and spreading the fear to the sheeple now starting to question the motives. It's also disheartening, since, as he pointed out, the "cry wolf" puts this country at a greater danger than ever.

Then I turn on the AP News and hear Ridge claiming "they could hit inside the U.S. or at targets abroad". Sheesh, I'm ready to hide under the bed. These goons are hitting the panic buttons and we still haven't seen their desperate side, yet.

was a paranoid schizophrenic. Her rants were hate-filled and pointed. The words were delivered with "authority", citing the most extreme as fact and, at the end of her invective, her target or targets deserved to die. Imus needs help...deep, intense psychiatric help!

I had just finished listening to the speech on C-Span and it was like these two were another world, they sneered and mocked Gore like two idiots, One of the finest speeches I had ever heard and they dismissed it as nonsense. It is a shame that Al Gore did not give speeches like that 3-4 years ago, no one would have gotten close. Imus is a fucking disgrace.:mad: :puke: :puke: :mad:

Up to maybe 10 years ago he was doing OK, and the show was fun. Then he steadily went downhill, and now is just going through the motions.

It's sad to see anyone hit the skids like that, and TV makes it worse. At the very least, sit up and ditch the cowboy hat. I have no idea why the geniuses at MSNBC have him on anyway.
