I saw the part about the shame of Abu Ghraib being a part of America's disgrace for several generations. Baer and Matthews both mentioned how much this torture scandal was a disaster for the United States ... that this undoubtedly will be a recruitment tool for the Iraqi resistence and al Qaida.

That's good enough for me ... that kind of talk is the most devastating there can be for the Bush regime.

As for the "terror alert" stuff ... Really, who cares. I have not talked to one person today, even Republicans, who did not think that the timing of this was mostly, if not totally political.
