The Chimp's fixation with his Poppy and all the criticism circulating around on the Internet and mentions in Kevin Phillip's book? Typical Bush Humor! Actually it's the Dragon Lady, Bab's humor.

Give a major speech, where you fall on your face, but you have spent your political career trying to recover your idiot Poppy's failure by "taking out Saddam" and so when your own P-Residency is in trouble..Kick off the speech to try to "save your butt" from Carlisle.

The media kept saying "Carlisle, PA., so I don't think this was unintended by the idiot Chimp. In fact it was crude and cruel...to not avoid the association. Even if the Army War College or whatever the hell it was is located there, the "irony" would NOT have escaped the Chimp.

He Loves and Hates his Father. It's all about his FATHER. His father was an idiot who had more sophisticated "handlers" and the "internet" wasn't active yet.

Carlisle is relatively close to DC...there is a War College there...the town has existed for quite some time...He would have likely spoke there anyway - hype or not...this was just an overblown campaign stop...

Carlisle Barracks is at Carlisle, PA. That's where the US Army War College is.

The real irony: the only people who he felt safe in explaining his War Plans to was a group of colonels--who really, really need a war in their 201 files if they want to make general. If the sumbitch would have gone to Iraq and given the same speech to a group from the 101st Airborne, Bush's podium would have looked like the stage at Bob's Country Bunker.
