I know it won't happen, but talk about a landslide!

Why?
Nader would pull in the youth and/or far left vote. If Nader actually behaved rationally, for once, by pairing up with Kerry on the Dem ticket, I, for one, would forgive him his trespasses!

11. The Reagan Democrats are not going to put
Ralph Nader a heartbeat away from mowing their lawn, let alone the presidency.

Besides, the man is steaming human garbage. Does someone who put Bush in the WH and then decides to knowingly run interference for Bush in 2004 really have the character the job requires?

12. Way too controversial...and way too liberal I'm afraid
It would kill Kerry among Independents! Any moderate to conservative voters who were thinking of going to Kerry would head right back to Bush.

34. And cost him all sorts of votes
Nader is a putz and an enemy of the Democratic Party. Why should we put him or McCain on the ticket?

3. I assume you mean a landslide for Bush
A choice for Nader is a choice for Bush. That rule applies as much to John Kerry as it applies to you and me.

4. I don't think that would help Kerry at all.
too many Democrats despise Nader for their perception, right or wrong, that he's the reason Bush is in the White House.

21. Say goodbye to the segment that actually determines who wins
Sorry, but between the partisan right and partisan left you only have about 70%-80% of the total people who will vote in this election. The "middle" portion of the electorate is going to determine who gets the winning margin and Nader would send the winning votes to Bush in a heartbeat.

Most of the hatred for Nader that I see is among those who consider themselves firmly on the left.

Wild enough to be completely stupid, that is.

Listen guys/gals - This might be a shock, but Kerry is gonna pick a Dem as a running mate.

Yep. You heard it here first! No McCain, no Nader, no Powell, no headless Berg. We're gonna have a goddamn Democrat as VP. Bank on it.

If you saw Nader on Stephanopolous last week, you know damn well he was right about everything he said.

Fuck the DLC, fuck the pandering to the right wing, fuck PNAC lite PPI.

I'm not realistically expecting Nader, but we could (and probably will) get much worse.

37. What about Ronald Reagan?
Granted...he could never be President, but at least he could help Kerry with the Reagan Democrats! He might even endorse all of Kerry's proposals, if he can still talk...

With Ronnie on the ticket Kerry could never lose California, and if Kerry died in office then Dennie Hastert would become the new President. Who cares who the VP is or how he or she is elected? After all the VP is the only nationally selected member of the Senate who's a heartbeat away from commanding the largest world empire.

41. Fuck Nader
let Nader undermine the fight against Bush from the inside? No way. He'll do enough damage to the Democrats from the outside. Besides there is no way he'd ever go for it. Remember he is running AGAINST the Democrats, he wants Kerry to LOOSE.

Might as well thave Cheney as Kerry's VP.
