DU make-up artists - any idea how they achieved this remarkable transformation? Latex? Prostheses? Dermablend?

4. the tip of the nose and the chin have makeup on them
there is no 'shine' on the tip of the nose, and the chin looks like it has too much concealer.

A good makeup artist and lighting person is everyone's best friend, if they're having a picture taken of them.

16. it must have hurt ...
The injured areas are still pretty tender. Bush was probably VERY snippy during the procedure! I once accompanied a friend to a TV studio, where he was supposed to take part in a panel discussion -- one of the other participants had received a black eye during an accident the day before, and even though the makeup person was as gentle as possible, he was almost crying by the time she was done. And that was without the "road rash" abrasions.

6. Dermablend...
Edited on Mon May-24-04 08:14 PM by Hell Hath No Fury
that shit will cover ANYTHING!

I have used it often on shoots, for covering tattoos, port wine marks, and severe sun damage. It's the one totally opaque make-up out there. You don't want to see what it looks like in person, but it photographs like a dream.

I should add, it probably didn't tickle going on to get that kind of coverage. That makes me smile. :)

"Kevin uses a majority of Skin Illustrator palette and airbrush liquids to color the makeup. For shading, Kevin uses Teak (available only in liquid) and Aged Blood from the FX Palette. From the original Flesh Tone Palette, Kevin uses Natural 1 & Rice Paper for highlights. Liver spots are created with Olive Adjuster 2 and from the Dark Flesh Tone Palette, Espresso 1 & Espresso 2."
"From the Complexion Palette, Kevin uses RedRum for capillaries and DT Blush for blush effects. Coral Blue is used for beard shading and a final over spray of Dinair's Olive Biege II and Golden Tan II are applied."
