2. the problem isn't distribution, it's Michael Eisner
He's not letting the Weinsteins buy the film back. He keeps jacking up the price.

Probably a smart move, seeing as how it won the Palm d'Or.

But he doesn't HAVE to sell it to anybody. He can just sit on it if he wants to.

Shit like that happens all the time in Hollywood
