Does anyone know (can provide some kind of a link) if Pepsi
is a major contributor to the Repubs (?) More so than coke products? I went to Long Beach Gay Pride this weekend and all they had was pepsi. I'd always heard that Pepsi was major Republican but never had any proof.

1. Pepsi is the choice of the New generation
I can't see them supporting Republicans!

4. Links? I'm calling Long Beach Gay Pride with many complaints
that my friends and I had about the festival and I don't want to add the pepsi thing if it's not true. Links or info anyone? Thanks! :-)

5. I'm guessing Pepsi gives to both parties
just a hunch, no proof. Many large corporations usually hedge their bets by giving to both.

Prove me wrong - because like I said, I have no proof.

8. Dick Nixon was at a Pepsi board meeting in Dallas TX
On 11-22-63.

Draw your own conclusions... but also keep in mind that Pepsi was very upset when the Bay of Pigs invasion failed in Cuba. Seems the Batista regime had been giving them a "sweet" deal on sugar.

9. Keep in mind the drug war connection
We might not think about it this way but Pepsi and Coke have a vested interest in the continuation of the drug wars. It might not be high on our personal radars but Pepsi and Coke are effectively drugs. Delivering a significant doses of caffiene and other substances they don't want legalised drugs comepeting on their turf.
