"I won't run for reelection" and "I resign"
The two responses -- "overwhelmingly" -- Jack Cafferty says he got to his question of the day today..."What do you want Bush to say in tonights' address?"

4. I was about to post the same thing.
:-) At the end of the segment Cafferty also said (paraphrasing) "enough talk, things need to start changing over there." Bill and Soledad just sat there waving their pom poms as usual.

8. Cafferty's still riled up about it
But the Young Republicans sitting next to him finally got him to shut up. They told him answers to all his questions would be revealed in the speech tonight.

15. Hemmer and Soledad both sucked up to Bush
It was so revolting! Hemmer leans over to him, "But Jack, there's word they've had some success in Rahahahad (?? wherever) and..." while Soledad interupted to tell Jack to be patient and wait for the speech. These guys don't know shit about what is going on in the news. They sip mohitos while the kids are playing t-ball all weekend, and then just sit in the chair and read the Tele-Promtr five mornings a week, without a freaking clue what they are talking about. Cafferty, the old curmudgeon...he's been there. He's seen this shit happen before; he backed the president, no doubt, and he should take his lumps for that. But, unlike the two Bushler Youth next to him, he's bright enough to recognize he was wrong, and at least he's now using his pulpit to hammer Bush. and is no longer a mouthpiece for him. The question is, will any of the rest of them ever wake up, or will they just ostrasize Jack instead? They still have Candy "Creepy" Crawly and Bill "Javol Mein Bush" Schneider warming up the stage for Wolfe Blitzkrieg and Paul LaZahn (is that French??).

I always find it hysterical that the freepers and other righties always decry CNN as being left wing. Sheesh.

11. He has no intention of losing in November, in fact, judging from some of
his statements, he is as sure of winning in November as he is sure of all his policies and actions including wars of aggression of his choosing.

12. That's just part of the "Presidential" image.
All failing Presidents do that even though they're going down in flames.

He thinks he will win because he still has his "October Surprise" in his his bag of tricks. Plus Diebold.

14. Changing Course
Edited on Mon May-24-04 09:04 AM by BeFree
Stay the Course or Change Course?

Well, as long as the Repukes are allowed to continue to represent the US around the world, we will Stay the present course into the abyss.

Time to give a good ol' Yankee pull on the rope the pukes have placed around their own necks and turn the Ship of State.
