1. Our military found no evidence?
Lying pieces of shit. And the rest of the world gets it.

3. I alternate between anger and despair
The lies are infuriating, insipid, disgraceful. Sometimes the whole thing is just downpressing.

2. This is one of the Bush's Generals. In a hole dig it deeper.
Way to go, after DOD got rid of any that had brains. And Generals are pretty smart, if they do the back ground. Know the people who fight for you, that you have to fight and where you fight.

4. I was trying to find Kimmitt's resume to see where he was educated
and I stumbled upon Defend America dot mil, a DoD site devoted to providing news about "the War on Terrorism." Okay, fair enough. So what's the lead story? A denial that a wedding took place in the village of Makr al-Deeb on May 19th, the night it was attacked by US gunships.

:wtf:

I'm starting to believe that the connections between the Iraq fiasco and the "War on Terror" are way deep. Deeper than just sharing methods of arriving at false intelligence. It really really really is a seditious conspiracy designed to hijack our Republic and hurl us into mayhem and unfettered profiteering.

Still need to find about General Kimmitt. This is the best I've found so far:

11. If I am reading this correctly
He has a lot of "theoretical" experience, but no actual combat experience. Most of these look like medals handed out just for showing up.

This is the kind of fruit salad handed out so folks don't look like pussies standing next to combat vets.

5. Yes, and really good people repeatedly kill the innocent
So nothing means anything. It's all part of the neo-con's ongoing fight to generate so much irrationality that any thinking person is simply rendered mute.

6. I've heard that view before, but is this crowd really so adept?
I've got a see-saw in my brain, nincompoops, sociopaths, nincompoops, sociopaths. Maybe it's a little of both.

Whaddya think of this short essay: Image and reality?

9. They found drugs and money at the wedding and thought that was evidence
of terrorism. Obviously, Kimmet hasn't been to too many weddings in the US.

10. Kholood Still Dead--Kimmitt Still in Denial
Baghdad, Iraq. Brigadeer General Mark Kimmitt continues to spread lies and deny obvious facts regarding the events of the 19th, namely, the attack by US airships on a wedding party in the village of Makr al-Deeb, which killed many innocent people.

Kimmitt presented a slide show during the daily Coalition Provisional Authority Briefing (transcript of said), which was intended to divert attention away from obvious truths. Nevertheless, some reporters were not fooled.

Steven Grey from the Sunday Times of London asked, "Does this also shed any light on your -- or cause you to think about your own tactics in these kinds of operations, whereby clearly there were women and children and others and young people killed in this attack who even could conceivably be --"

Brigadeer General Mark Kimmitt interrupted Mr. Gray to say, "Well, first of all, that's not clear. We have found no evidence of any children being killed, by people on the ground. We had a ground force element that went through the objective. It did not identify any children killed."

Of course it's impossible to know for certain why Mark Kimmitt lies, whether his deceit stems from his own delusional thinking, or whether he merely passes along messages that reflect the delusional thinking of the political leadership of the United States.

12. The AP story from last week--in case there's any doubt
But an Associated Press reporter in the Ramadi area, at least 275 miles east of Mogr el-Deeb, was able to identify at least 10 of the bodies as those of children.

At the Bou Fahad cemetery outside Ramadi, where the tribe is based, each of the 28 fresh graves contain one to three corpses, mostly of mothers and their young children.

Relatives said they include those of 2-year-old Kholood and 1-year-old Anoud, daughters of Amal Rikad, who was killed; of 2-year-old Raad and 1-year-old Ra'ed -- whose headless body was found near his house -- sons of Fatima Madhi, who was killed; of Saad, 10, Faisal, 7, Anoud, 6, Fasila, 5, Kholood, 4, and Inad, 3 -- children of Mohammed and Morifa Rikad, who were killed.

There also are photo images of dead children, but it was not possible to determine if those victims were already accounted for by relatives.
