DUers, I need sources for a debate on immigration
I'm on the pro side of an immigration debate in economics class. I have my basic rhetoric down, but does anyone know any sources with statistics on the benefits of immigration? I need to toss some numbers around.

1. The U.S. Census
website has LOTS of # surrounding immigration. Just put U.S. Census in google or something...

You would think I would know of some sites, but I really don't.

Personal perspective though. If my American born partner had the rights she was actually born with, rather than because of bigots she is stripped of, she would actually be able to sponsor me for immigration. Which basically means, we wouldn't be living apart right now.

Anyway, good luck with the debate. Let us know how you go with it.
